MySpace To Be Queer: Youth, New Media & Health Promotion

Over 97% of youth use new media.

However a debate continues to rage over the health and safety impacts of new media for queer populations.


This event explored LGBTQ youths’ participation in new media, and the opportunities offered by new media to promote LGBTQ youths’ health. This event featured a panel of discussants, followed by a lengthy open discussion with the audience.
